Western Heritage

At R.J.’s Stables we work with many 4H youth, in a 4H activity called Western Heritage.   We help 4H’ers learn skills for break away roping, team roping, goat tying, round pen roping and pen to pen sorting.  These 4H’ers compete at one of four Regional events

around the state.  The top six placings in each event, qualify for the State Competition.  A large portion of our youth have competed at Regionals, and qualified for the State Competition.  We are very proud of all our students, and all the work they put into reaching there goals.
